Also known as Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 10, this episode was written by the showrunners Ian Goldberg & Andrew Chambliss, and directed by long-time Hollywood director Ron Underwood. We get a bottle episode that mostly takes place in a mall in a bit of a sendoff to the classic Dawn of the Dead. Grace and Morgan get closer, while Dwight confronts one of Logan’s guys.
Channel 4, Fear the Walking Dead Season 5 Episode 9, was an episode that was probably in the making since What’s Your Story. In that episode, we first see Al’s desire to interview people to get their stories. It was a long time coming to shoot an episode in this documentary/infomercial style, a first for The Walking Dead franchise.

On episode 83 of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Mark and I discuss The Walking Dead Season 9 Episode 1, the season premiere, titled A New Beginning. Mark loved it. I didn’t love it, but I liked it a lot. It was a setup episode, and a bit long, but there wasn’t much I could find fault with, unlike the second half of the Fear season 4.
