TWDTT 144 – TOTWD – Amy / Dr. Everett (S1E4)

Discovery Channel Docuseries that we all didn’t know we needed.
For episode 144 of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle and Brian talk through Tales of The Walking Dead Season 1, Episode 4 titled Amy / Dr. Everett. It was written by Ahmadu Garba and directed by Haifaa al-Mansour. Amy tries to convince Dr. Everett that people need to take back the land from the dead.
LT was unable to join us, so Brian and Kyle take the reigns, cut off some chomper heads and go forth into the wild unknown of the Dead Zone.
This was an interesting episode that Kyle felt left many more questions than it did answers. We do know that they are treating Tales as just being set in The Walking Dead Universe, but there was just so much that they didn’t say that left a lot of what, when, where, and how that the focus of the episode between Amy and Dr. Everett got a little lost or just out of focus. Overall, we enjoyed the science part of the episode, but the characters left us a little dry. As with any new show, there are some growing pains, so I hope the showrunner and those behind the scenes can take all the reactions from fans and make future seasons better.
So enjoy as Kyle and Brian discuss Tales of the Walking Dead, Season 1, Episode 4, titled Amy / Dr. Everett.

We want to start offering Patrons a real reason to stay on our Patreon and to get more people to become Patrons. As such, we are going to start experimenting with bringing you some new content that will really make it worth your while to be subscribed.
We are going to try offering Patrons early access to our regular episodes. These versions of the episodes will be less polished than the final version of the podcast, will largely be uncensored, may contain things we fix up in the final version (like when we speak over each other, awkward silences, etc.), content that we remove from the final version and may not have all of the sound effects mixed in properly (and in the case of this episode, doesn’t have the beginning and ending music mixed in at all).
