One of the best episodes of The Walking Dead in Years.

For episode 129 of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle, Brian, and LT talk through The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 6 titled On the Inside. It was written by Kevin Deiboldt and directed by Greg Nicotero.

Haunted Houses, forcibly detached appendages, and a beautiful Reunion.

In one of the scariest episodes in show history, Connie and Virgil run into the wrong house, and Daryl, Leah, and the Reaper gang, unfortunately, run into the right house. We had one of the best episodes in The Walking Dead in years and the highest ratings from us as well as our listeners since the start of Season 11. I hope this continues because this was absolute almost perfect.

Daryl and company run around looking for Maggie and torturing Frost. Kyle is not so on board with this part of the story but maybe it will pay off. There is the Daryl and Carol Spinoff in the works so maybe this is part of what leads to that, but who knows. We will have to wait and see.

First we want to welcome our New Patron, DeEtta Patterson! Thank you for all your support of the podcast over the years and for your patronage.

We want to start offering Patrons a real reason to stay on our Patreon and to get more people to become Patrons. As such, we are going to start experimenting with bringing you some new content that will really make it worth your while to be subscribed.

We are going to try offering Patrons early access to our regular episodes. These versions of the episodes will be less polished than the final version of the podcast, will largely be uncensored, may contain things we fix up in the final version (like when we speak over each other, awkward silences, etc.), content that we remove from the final version and may not have all of the sound effects mixed in properly (and in the case of this episode, doesn’t have the beginning and ending music mixed in at all).

To do this, we edited a different version of the podcast where we’re all on one single track, and only edited major things. Aside from that, the process is similar to how we’ve been doing it. We think, at least from an editing perspective, this was a major success. In fact, this process may influence how we edit the main version of the podcast going forward.
