Yawn!

For episode 122 of The Walking Dead Talk Through, Brian and LT and Kyle talk through, more like Yawn through The Walking Dead Season 10 Episode 21 titled Diverged. Diverged was written by Heather Bellson and directed by David Boyd.

Did we really need this episode?

Well if you haven’t already started the podcast yet just know this one is marked explicit. There were no more F’s to give by the time we finished. This episode was just too F’ing slow. And really? Did we need another episode about Carol and Daryl? I mean where’s Maggie? Or Rosita? I mean it was nice to see Jerry but they could have given us more. While it was not all doom and gloom and we understand that Covid made its mark on production, but this just wasn’t great. And the ratings, while have been going down for some time, was the lowest. Ever. And I don’t blame anyone. We did get good feedback and the listeners did make some good points. And we do agree with them, but just want good TWD content and not just filler, just because. Next week does look better. And I hope it delivers. With that I hope you enjoy our discussion, that is not just all bad, just hard to cover, this time around.

Ratings reach all-time lows, again…

Ratings for S10E21 Diverged are back to historic lows. Diverged got a 0.55 in the 18-49 demographic, with 1.938 million viewers, down from last week’s S10E20 Splinter, which got a 0.56 in the 18-49 demographic and 2.113 million viewers. Talking Dead got a 0.13 in the 18-49 with 620,000 viewers, down from 0.18 and 808,000 viewers.
