STPC 016 – Star Trek: Picard – The Last Best Hope – Una McCormack

Star Trek: Picard – The Last Best Hope author Una McCormack!
We’re back with an interview! Ruthie and I have been talking about how good we thought Star Trek: Picard – The Last Best Hope is for weeks now. For this episode, we are pleased to bring you a special interview with its author, Una McCormack. This was recorded on April 25, 2020.
Spoiler Alert!!!
We will be discussing the novel in detail, so if you haven’t read the novel, but are planning to, you may want to skip this episode until you do. In this episode, we talk about the process of getting the assignment to write the novel, finding the characters’ voices, and the story itself. We think it’s one of the best novels we’ve read in a long time. It’s not just told from the voice of Picard. We also hear the story from other perspectives, too.
