STDP 065 – All Is Possible (S4E4)

Star Trek: Discovery – Season 4 Episode 4
We’re back!!! Ruthie and Brian talk through Star Trek: Discovery, Season 4 Episode 4, titled All Is Possible. This episode was written by Alan McElroy & Eric J. Robbins and it was directed by John Ottman.
We’re sorry that this episode came out so late for regular listeners, but it was also late for Patreon listeners, too. This is probably the worst it has been for one released in the middle of the season like this. It’s become increasingly more difficult to get the episodes edited in a timely fashion. I’ll try to get caught up over the holidays, but that’s going to be difficult. I’ve just got a lot on my plate right now. Hopefully, you won’t have to wait as long for S4E5, which has already been recorded.
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
If you haven’t seen this episode of Star Trek: Discovery, stop right now!!! Go watch it, then come back!!! We’ll be here for you!
Tilly and Adira take cadets out on a training mission…
Tilly leads a training mission that goes very wrong. In the end, we get an idea of the isolation, distrust, and derisiveness that happened after “The Burn”.
We will miss you!
Tilly goes off to teach at Starfleet Academy. We speculated as far as what that is going to mean for the show. We think she’s not gone for good, but what will it mean for the show going forward? Did we lose as a regular one of the fans’ favorite characters on this show?
Welcome back, Ni’Var!
The united Ni’Varians (Romulan and Vulcan people) are now back in the Federation, but it took (yet again) Burnham to put herself in the center of things. Even we think this gets old after a while. However, the scenes on Ni’Var were good, especially the T’Rina and Saru scenes.
