Rebinging Star Trek DS9: The Ascent

Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Season 5 episode 9 of Rebinge Deep Space Nine: The Ascent. We’ve got an odd couple theme this week as Odo and Quark are stranded together on a cold, lifeless planet while Nog and Jake reunite only to find that roommate life isn’t what they expected.

The Ascent

Odo and Quark get stranded together on a harsh planet due to a failed assassination attempt. They spend most of their time bickering while trying to climb a mountain (hence: “the ascent”). Meanwhile, back at the station Nog is back and he’s a super keen Starfleet cadet! He and Jake move in together only to discover they don’t have a lot in common anymore. There is A LOT of bickering in this episode (not in the podcast), but don’t worry, everyone gets along (sort of) in the end.
