Rebinging Star Trek DS9: Hard Time

Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to season 4, episode 18: Hard Time where Miles serves a 20 year prison sentence in his mind. Miles is clearly the emotional punching bag of DS9 as he gets into another torturous situation where he thinks he’s lost everything. This is an emotional, harrowing story where Colm Meaney really shines.

Hard Time

In this episode we learn that Miles has lived a virtual prison sentence. When he’s rescued, he needs to try and re-incorporate himself into his own life. But it doesn’t go well as he is hallucinating and continuing to suffer the trauma of his inhumane incarceration. Can the invisible counselor save him before it’s too late?
