Talking Through Ofelia!

For this episode 94 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, Kyle and LT, and Brian! (Yes! Brian is back!) to talk through Season 7 Episode 11 of Fear the Walking Dead titled Ofelia, which was written by Alex Delyle and David Johnson and directed by Alycia Debnam-Carey. Luciana and Wes test the limits of their patience when Daniel’s worsening mental state ends up endangering them all.

Another One Bites the Dust (poor Arno)!

We have a surprise for you. Brian is back! He is caught up and will be joining us for the rest of the season.

So, in this episode, Luciana, Wes, and Daniel go on a mission to get guns, and we see the declining state of Daniel’s condition. We agree with most of you that what the showrunners are doing with his character is not great, and in this episode, we get some of the Old Daniel back, but again it’s not looking great for the longevity of his character going forward. Luciana had some good moments, which they should have been doing with her character a long time ago. Wes took an unexpected turn in the end, and we don’t completely understand his reasoning behind it. There was a lot to talk about, so this episode is much longer than previous episodes, and having Brian back with us was the icing on the cake. I know you missed him as much as we have and are excited to finish Season 7 with him on board.

Enjoy as Kyle, LT, and Brian discuss Fear the Walking Dead, Season 7, Episode 11, titled Ofelia.

We want to start offering Patrons a real reason to stay on our Patreon and to get more people to become Patrons. As such, we are going to start experimenting with bringing you some new content that will really make it worth your while to be subscribed.

We are going to try offering Patrons early access to our regular episodes. These versions of the episodes will be less polished than the final version of the podcast, will largely be uncensored, may contain things we fix up in the final version (like when we speak over each other, awkward silences, etc.), content that we remove from the final version and may not have all of the sound effects mixed in properly (and in the case of this episode, doesn’t have the beginning and ending music mixed in at all).

To do this, we edited a different version of the podcast where we’re all on one single track and only edited major things. Aside from that, the process is similar to how we’ve been doing it. We think, at least from an editing perspective, this was a major success. In fact, this process may influence how we edit the main version of the podcast going forward.

  1. Aaron says:

    Welcome back Brian! 👋

I feel like Strand is at the crater doing things since they want to make that a thing this year. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s letting out zombies to pad the walls of the tower.

“How many actors want off this show” – I can think of at least one sadly and it feels she’s halfway already out the door. This is a perfect rating Brian! 👏

Wes at the tower makes no sense given he’s anti-Strand.

Lol, come on fellas you know no one is actually watching this show again to do captions and features right. What do you think this is something popular like the main series? Ha.

    Hi Teresa! 👋
