Talking Through Honey

For this episode 72 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, LT, Kyle and Brian talk through Honey. Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 5 was written by Ashley Cardiff and directed by Michael E. Satrazemis. We also discuss a little bit about World Beyond Episode 6 titled Shadow Puppets. Kyle fixes his mistake and we included Brian’s Ratings, Sauces for last episode of The Key and hopefully can get him out of the doghouse ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sherry is not so sweet but we don’t blame her after all she’s been through!

In this episode, we see Dwight and Sherry together again but that doesn’t last so long. Sherry has been with a mask-wearing group of Ginny misfits with plans to try and rid the apocalypse of her but again Morgan seems to come out of nowhere to spread his word of a place where they all can be safe… again lol. We do get some insight on how bad Negan’s scars are on our crossover characters and I really did enjoy seeing that even if it was brief. In the end, Dwight sides with Morgan and AL and Sherry decides that she’s just not ready to walk away from her new friendโ€™s plans.

We could still use your help!

This season, collecting the feedback has been challenging, and we could use your help. Our availability is limited for each of us on Tuesdays when the bulk of the feedback comes in. We have to grab it from the various sources, including the Facebook group, the feedback form, email, and voice mail; put it into a Google doc; separate it into the appropriate sections of the podcast: Ratings, sauces, and feedback; and then fix things like spelling mistakes, grammar, and format, and then divide it by who will read it. If you are available most Tuesdays that we have an episode to record and want to help the podcast out, please drop us a line, either using the feedback form, the Facebook group, or if you are friends with us on Facebook, over Messenger. We’ll work out something if you can.

He seriously failed on doing the fail buzzer…way to stay consistent Kyle! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป ๐Ÿ™‚

So what I’m hearing in regards to last week is LT is clearly the Daniel of the group because all his moves were right. Ha. Still love you Kyle and Brian. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Sorry about your aunt Renee!

They needed some reason to shove in Morgan Sue LT.

A+++ portion of the podcast in regards to the chase issues in this episode!!! ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿ˜

Clearly both Sherri and Dwight weren’t thinking clearly this episode as who has sex with that many candles around?! That is an accident waiting to happen.

We’ve barely seen Alycia Debnam-Carey also Brian.

    Mini Ginny, lol!

I would have settled for Sherri saying what Negan did in that scene, no need for a flashback. You could have her say she can’t let another Negan happen even and so that’s why she wants to kill Ginny so bad; she kind of does this at the end but yeah she could have mentioned some of what Negan did to her without showing a flashback of the events. They may assume everyone watches all the shows but the fact is they don’t; not every FEAR person watches the TWD and not every TWD fan watches FEAR and clearly many aren’t watching Beyond so to assume everyone knows these references isn’t correct. It’s kind of like how we conflict about Morgan Jones and you’ve seen TWD so you know his history but for me he’s just annoying because the guy here is not this guy you’re telling me about and so instead of loving him also I can’t stand him. Easter eggs are fun don’t get me wrong but that doesn’t mean everyone will get the reference; just because I know who Negan is from trailers on the network doesn’t mean I know what he’s done. If you’re going to have crossover characters you should include dialogue at the least to reference events…if Alicia was on TWD and said she hated baseball stadiums TWD only people may not get that but FEAR fans would understand her saying it, but if she said she hates them because she lost her mom (in her opinion – #BringBackMadison) or because the last time she was in one things went really bad then you get a bit more of the impact it’s having for the character; this is also a benefit for fans of all the shows too because someone could forget between all the series hours what happened to X at Y time you know? You can tell Sherri is scared of Negan but the why is unknown so the scene feels generic instead of impactful sadly.
