FTWDTT 069 – Welcome to the Club (S6E2)

Talking Through Welcome to the Club
For this episode 69 of Fear the Walking Dead Talk Through, LT, Kyle and Brian talk through Welcome to the Club. Fear the Walking Dead Season 6 Episode 2 was written by Nazrin Choudhury, and directed by none other than Lennie James. We also discuss a little bit about World Beyond Episode 3 titled The Tyger and the Lamb.
Strand and Alicia get put in a sticky situation!
In this episode, we get Alicia and Strand and Ginny enacting some punishment for their defiance towards one of her Rangers. Only to be sent on a mission… well punishment… to clean out some sticky walkers from a warehouse that Ginny has some interest in. Dear old Charlie returns; Kyle still does not like her but it’s nice seeing some of the group being united after all this time. Daniel shows up cutting Ginny’s hair but after some pleas from Alicia and Strand, it would seem he’s suffered some mental damage at the hands of Ginny’s men. (Yeah Right!)
It was a good episode and from the feedback, our listeners enjoyed it as much as we did, well mostly all our listeners. It’s nice seeing the show come back to elements of what we loved about this show from past seasons. Show us the characters we love and do it in a character-driven way. This season does seem to have some promise and that makes us happy.
Send in your feedback!
Please leave your feedback! We will be covering Fear The Walking Dead in it’s entirety but if you have feedback about the Spinoff World Beyond we will cover that too, but the main focus will be with Fear! We could still use your help!
This season, collecting the feedback has been challenging, and we could use your help. Our availability is limited for each of us on Tuesdays when the bulk of the feedback comes in. We have to grab it from the various sources, including the Facebook group, the feedback form, email, and voice mail; put it into a Google doc; separate it into the appropriate sections of the podcast: Ratings, sauces, and feedback; and then fix things like spelling mistakes, grammar, and format, and then divide it by who will read it. If you are available most Tuesdays that we have an episode to record and want to help the podcast out, please drop us a line, either using the feedback form, the Facebook group, or if you are friends with us on Facebook, over Messenger. We’ll work out something if you can.

“But we’re charming!” – you are LT but not THAT charming; I’m not doing Beyond. Ha.
No body no death Brian, Madison could return if they’re smart! Or desperate for ratings. I feel that one will come first.
“Rawhide!” – lol.
“Screw the people, where’s my cat?” – now THAT is Daniel for sure! 🙂
I can support Lennie James on this show behind the camera!
I like Dakota and agree the casting for her was great!
Night Brian!
Yes Kyle, they TOTALLY should have done part of the door then close it and then do more and close it!
Maybe they’re going to do Charlie/Dakota? 🙂 If they want to do more queer relationships give me Alicia/Althea! 🙂 I do agree Kyle, it makes no sense for Charlie to be part of the group originally.
I’m with LT I think the key is just a random key that doesn’t really open anything nearby actually.
